How to Backup Blu-ray on Mac with Free Blu-ray Copy

All the Blu-ray fans may have the need to backup Blu-rays on a Mac computer. As far as I know, that hasn’t been very difficult now because of the one-key backup tool’s appearance. Aurora Blu-ray Copy is a tool like this which allows users to backup their Blu-ray discs on Mac very simply.
Below I will throw the quick Backup Blu-ray Mac tutorial up for all users’ reference.
First, the most important preparation is that you should have a Blu-Ray drive hooked to your Mac. As for now, Apples seems not to make their computer with a BD support, so an external Blu-ray drive is very necessary. (If no, just get one from the amazon.com). Aurora Blu-ray Copy for Mac is a simple but practical tool. With it, users can backup Blu-ray to ISO on Mac directly as well as burn the ISO movies into a Blu-ray disc.
Step 1: If you don’t download the Aurora Free Blu-ray Copy yet, you should download it and install it on your Mac. Connect the BD drive with your computer and then insert the Blu-ray disc you want to backup.

Step 2: Run the tool as above, click the “Source” button to load the Blu-ray disc. You’ll then be presented with the disc information below. Define the “Destination” folder according to your requirements.

Step3: Click “Start” to begin to backup Blu-ray on Mac with Aurora Blu-ray Copy.
So there you have it. It is quite simple. One thing you have to keep in mind is that you need to keep a good 50 GB or so free on your hard drive in order to process the BD backup.
